We have to go out from the first minute to do what ‘profe’ asks (and) we have to go out and find out match, not wait to see what the rival does but rather go to find the victory, which is what we need.”
Barrio Mexico (9-7-3 W-D-L) now is unbeaten over its last nine matches overall. Barrio entered the Liga Motorola promotion playoffs as the No. 3 team in Group A before defeating AD Carmelita 4-1 on aggregate in the first round.
Barrio MX defender Edder Monguio said, “We would have liked to get the victory (against Marineros) but on the road a draw is not bad except this group demands the most. We’re work with a lot of attitude to finish this series at home.”
Hansen, Deybis Jimenez and Verny Scott have four goals apiece to lead Barrio Mexico. Goalkeeper Brian Morales leads a defense that has allowed just 14 goals through 19 matches.
